In this series I will be playing Total War Rome 2 (aka Rome Total War 2) as the Greek City state Sparta (And its amazing Spartan Hoplites). In this part, I help Macedonia take one of Epirus cities while I march towards their other one (presumably their last one)
Sparta is one of the playable factions from the Greek States Culture Pack. This pack was free with a pre-order of the game. It can now be purchased for about $7.99 on the Steam store as DLC. This pack also includes Athens and Epirus as playable factions. Sparta is located on the Greek Peninsula along with Epirus and Athens. Athens is neutral with Sparta while Epirus is immediately an enemy of Sparta. I hope to conquer everything near me, including (eventually) Rome / Roma. However, first I must “unite” the Greek City-States, conquer/befriend Macedonia, and finally work my way towards Rome itself.
